Job Expectations
- The successful candidate will be responsible for administering clinical assessments and implementing treatment plans for infants, children and adolescents (ages 0-12) with a variety of diagnoses while adhering to the policies and procedures of the company.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Occupational Therapy assessments to determine root causes of functional concerns.
- Write up Occupational Therapy reports as requested by clients.
- Program/treatment planning in accordance with the client’s needs.
- Provide consultation and education to the parents/guardians regarding client’s needs and goals.
- Promote a positive, healthy learning environment for our clients.
- Provide leadership and support to fellow colleagues.
- Maintain a good working relationship with clients and fellow colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively both in a verbal and written manner.
- Ability to demonstrate personal leadership skills.
- Ability to accept feedback, supervision and guidance.
- Experience with program planning and implementation.
- Experience working with children with a variety of needs/diagnoses (sensory processing disorder, feeding concerns, fine motor delay, gross motor delay, writing issues, Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, DCD, etc).
- Exhibits commitment, integrity, and adaptability.
- Exhibits self-directed, independent work ethic.
- Exhibits enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, and self-control.
- Abides by the highest ethical standards of practice in accordance with College and Company guidelines.
